Nemsys is a consulting company specialized in decision support software systems designed to assist a decisionmaker in solving complex management problems, with special reference to freight production and distribution and to resource management.

The technical staff of Nemsys acquired, both in Italy and abroad, advanced scientific knowledge in the fields of combinatorial optimization, mathematical programming and software engineering. Nemsys has then achieved a significant experience in applying such knowledge in the design of software systems which provide operational solutions to real-world problems.

Nemsys primary objective is to transfer its experience and scientific know-how to industrial applications, thus contributing to bridge the gap between applied research and operational practice.

In the area of freight distribution, Nemsys has already produced a number of software systems for the vehicle routing and scheduling problems and it is the owner of the trade mark Routemate^®.
